What is the best way / tour to see all of the Anne of Green Gables attractions? My granddaughter is a huge fan and just want to be sure we see all that we can.

Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander! Prince Edward Island has some amazing tour operators with Anne of Green Gables tours that you can book. Pre-planned tours will not include all of the Anne sites; alternatively, you can also book a custom tour. In this way, a guide will work with you to build your itinerary based on your personal interests. 

If you are touring on your own, this detailed itinerary has already been planned for you! It includes Green Gables Heritage Place (the fictional home of Anne), the Anne of Green Gables Museum at the beautiful Campbell Homestead described by Montgomery as Silver Bush, and all other L.M. Montgomery sites. Also listed is Anne and Gilbert, the Musical on stage at the Florence Simmons Performance Hall, as well as retail shops with an Anne theme! Anne of Green Gables, the Musical will return to the Confederation Centre of the Arts in summer 2026.

The great thing about the itinerary, is that most of the sites are within our Green Gables Shore region, so planning your route will be relatively easy. If by chance, you have to backtrack, you're not far from the next site! 

You can also stop at one of the many Visitor Information Centres when you arrive or even during your tour if you need some direction. The friendly vacation planners will be able to guide you along and provide you with a PEI Highway map if you need one.
