What should I see while in St. Peter’s?
Good afternoon Pat;
Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander. St. Peters is a beautiful community along our Points East Coastal Drive. If able, I would rent a bicycle at Confederation Trail Bike Rentals and take in the sights on two wheels. Cycle along the Confederation Trail and/or to Greenwich, PEI National Park - a must-see destination of the area.
You can also visit the shops at St. Peter's Bay Craft & Giftware, Freckles & Porcelain and the other merchants at the corner.
The Mysa Nordic Spa is a great destination for a relaxing few hours. As a guest, you will enjoy dining on-site as their menu is spectacular.
There is also a weekly ceilidh with dancing at the Seniors Circle Club, 7:30 pm, 1917 Cardigan Road, St. Peter's Bay. Contact: 902-739-3334. I attended two summers ago, and it was so much fun.
Be sure to visit the Destination Centre for more advice when in the area. As I'm unsure of when you are visiting, please note the dates of operation in the listings or the establishments listed.
Enjoy your visit to Prince Edward Island.
