Our family (2 adults & 1 girl (11 years old)) are planning on visiting PEI in July 2018. We are going to bring our tent trailer and plan on camping. In Ontario we have always camped at provincial parks. We are looking for recommendations for camp grounds in PEI. We are hoping to start in Charlottetown and make our way around PEI. Any suggestions on campgrounds and events would be helpful as we would like to book campgrounds now so we know where we will be staying.

General Island

Hi Julie!

Prince Edward Island has many beautiful campgrounds situated from one end of the Island to the other. You can camp near a beach, in the woods or near shopping and restaurants. You'll find private campgrounds, provincial parks and two campgrounds within the National Park. All have the same amenities and services and all are equally as beautiful. You can take a closer look at the campgrounds and their pricing on our website.  Most campgrounds are now accepting reservations for the 2018 season, but provincial parks will only begin accepting reservations on April 3.

You can check out the Festival and Events site for information on any events that are happening while you are here.  There are a few things on there now for July, but keep an eye on the list!  It will keep growing as we get closer to your arrival date.
