Thanks for the info on blueberries. Where can I shop for locally made jewellery and pottery?

Hello Carol:

Thank you for your question.  There are lots of great places to find locally made jewellery and pottery on Prince Edward Island.

If you are in Charlottetown I would suggest going to the shop Garnish on Water Street.  Then move on Victoria Row -  make sure you stop into Kuriosities and Green Eye Designs for jewellery and lots of other great accessories.

As for pottery, I have to suggest my family's pottery shop Village Pottery in New London (10 mins West of Cavendish on Route 6). We have the largest selection of pottery on PEI and have been open for over 44 years!

You should also check out The Dunes in Brackley Beach, Pottery by the Sea in North Rustico and Hermann-Suzuki Pottery in Oyster Bed Bridge. While you're there, stop into Gaudreau's Fine Woodworking as well to see exquisite wooden workmanship and more pottery made in the Maritime provinces.

Hope you can find some locally made treasures while you're here!

Suzanne
