Yes, there are quite a few operators located either on or close to the trail. In Alberton, rentals are available from Kildare Lodge. From Charlottetown, there are several options including MacQueen's, Outer Limit Sports and Rising Tide (e-bikes). In St. Peters, Confederation Trail Bike Rentals is your best bet.
The view below is the trail heading west from St. Peters.
You can also rent e-bikes in Brudenell, Georgetown, Montague and Souris.
