Is there a recommended whale watching tour in PEI?

Good afternoon Katie;

Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander. Prince Edward Island is home to the Minke whale, the Pilot whale and the Atlantic white-sided dolphin. They are rare to see but the best chance is out on the water in a boat as they like to hang out in deep waters. Sometimes if you're lucky, you can see them from the shore, but it is rare. 

Some deep sea fishing tours offer the chance to see whales, as noted below. Each of these operators leave from North Lake Harbour in the Points East Coastal Drive region:
