Looking for a nice place to stay for the three or four days in PEI while we bike and tour with our car - after the first weekend of September.

Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander! With just three or four days to spend in PEI, I would suggest that you stay somewhere kind of central. That way you can explore to the east or west and still be back to your accommodation by evening. 

There is a beautiful new resort in Grand Tracadie which is just a little bit east of our capital city of Charlottetown. It is called Blackbush Beach Resort. They have some availability the second week of September as of the writing of this email. The setting here is breathtaking, nestled alongside the dunes of the north shore the views will take your breath away. Fin Folk Food in on-site for casual dining. Blackbush is your perfect base to explore PEI’s natural beauty and tranquility.

Dalvay By The Sea Inn & Dining Room, located inside of the Prince Edward Island National Park is also showing availability for your dates. You'll take a step back in time to a Victorian summer home with dining room open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and where activities include: croquet, nature trails, beach walks and bike rentals and you're only steps from the spectacular beaches of the PEI National Park. 

If you'd like to stay in Charlottetown, The Arts Hotel is located in the heart of the city. This minimalist property masters comfort and affordability and is home to the Salvador Dali Café, the Trailside Music Hall & Tivoli Cinema. Feast, vibe, unwind, and recharge all in one place.
