Hello Bill,

Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander! This year tuna fishing season started on July 15th. Some fishermen don't start fishing until later in the season as they usually start hitting the fish in August, but this year it seems like they've been hooking up since the first day!

North Lake PEI is known as the Tuna Capital of the World and would be a great place to go looking for a Tuna Charter host. Here are a few to consider!
