Tourism PEI

Hi! I have booked a stay in PEI for Easter this year. I am looking for ideas on things to do and what restaurants or locations may be offering a turkey dinner. I will be staying in Charlottetown but am open to travelling around the island.

Hi Stefanie,

Thank you for your inquiry to Ask an Islander. Over the Easter weekend, there are a number of events taking place in the Charlottetown area and beyond from an Easter Choral performance to the Etsy Atlantic Spring Market. Of course, the Charlottetown Farmer’s Market on Saturday is a must. If you want to buy some fabulous fresh turkey burgers or sausages to take home, visit the Larkin Farms booth.

In case you are also looking for accommodations, I want to ensure you are aware of our Stay & Savour packages which offer free Canada’s Food Island gift cards when you stay with our accommodation partners.

If time permits, I always encourage visitors to explore one of our coastal drives. Here is one of my favourite; travel through Green Gables Shore region to Kensington. I would recommend stopping in Stanley Bridge for an Easter treat from Jane & Sue Chocolate

For turkey dinner, contact one of the following Charlottetown restaurants upon your arrival to ask about turkey dinner and a reservation:

  • The Inn Restaurant
  • Coach’s Restaurant
  • Hunter’s Ale House
  • Maid Marion’s Diner

I hope you have a fabulous vacation.

Regards,

Verna Lynne
