We are coming to PEi in a week and have heard of these Lobster Fests.....all you can eat lobster in a community hall? Is this true? Where would we find one?

Hey Kimberley!
Thank you for reaching out on Ask An Islander.
Tons of ways to enjoy lobster around the island and one of the best can be the community hall cold plate dinners - they can be a little tough to find as most of them are only advertised locally or with road signage - but that’s part of the charm!
Another of the best ways (and what you might have heard about) would be to hit up a classic lobster supper at one of the popular spots - New Glasgow Lobster Suppers or Fisherman’s Wharf are my favourites. They don’t offer all you can eat lobster but they do offer a choice of size of lobster (1lb and above typically) with unlimited mussels, bread, salad bars, and more. Great times and a great deal!
I invite you to download or order our 2024 visitor’s guide. You can always stay in touch by signing up for the Tourism PEI newsletter which includes details on upcoming festivals and events and recipes too!
Hope that helps!
Thanks,
Al Douglas

Asked: I will be visiting Souris in early July 2024. I would love to take in a traditional lobster boil ( if that’s the correct wording , with the potatoes and corn and sea food ). Is there a local area known for offering this?
