Hello Tess,

Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander! I am so happy to hear that you picked PEI for your honeymoon! You'll be here early in the season so be sure to take advantage of our gorgeous beaches! Sunsets have never looked so good and you might even find that you'll have the whole beach to yourselves!

Any beach would be great for a romantic sunset walk, but the north shore beaches might be best. The Prince Edward Island National Park would be a great place to start. Head to Stanhope or Brackley, maybe grab a snack at Richard's Fresh Seafood in Covehead first and then head to the beach for sunset.

Mysa Nordic Spa & Resort in St. Peter's Bay would be a great way to spend some time together. Prince Edward Island’s first Nordic spa is a serene space designed for relieving stress, immersing yourself in nature, and invigorating the senses. It is also close by the eastern section of the Prince Edward Island National Park - Greenwich. After a relaxing day at the spa, you could walk the trails at Greenwich which eventually end up at the beach and dunes!

If you don't already have your accommodations booked, you might consider the Couples Getaway at The Fiddling Fisherman Lookout. Nestled along Colville Bay overlooking Souris beach. The views are spectacular!

What about a tour of historical Charlottetown in a horse drawn carriage! Emerald Isle Carriage Tours leave daily from Founders Food Hall and Market located on the beautiful Charlottetown waterfront.

I hope this helps you to plan your honeymoon!
