We plan to visit PEI in late September/October, 2024. Are the leaves typically changing colors by that time?

Hello Lynn,

Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander! Late September to early October is a beautiful time to visit Prince Edward Island. The days are still warm and the evenings cool off nicely. It's harvest time and yes the leaves will be starting to change into their fall colours!

I love driving down our red dirt Heritage Roads in the fall, in some places the trees make a canopy over the road and it's gorgeous!

See you in September!

Valerie

Asked: I will be visiting Souris in early July 2024. I would love to take in a traditional lobster boil ( if that’s the correct wording , with the potatoes and corn and sea food ). Is there a local area known for offering this?
