Where are the best lobster dinners on the north coast, authentic?

Hey Patricia!

Thank you for reaching out on Ask An Islander!

This is a great question to answer as it’s a simple answer - there are two spots that are two spots to satisfy your lobster cravings - New Glasgow Lobster Suppers (in New Glasgow) is my favorite - great spot for the Island’s classic style of lobster dinner.

The other very close second would be Fisherman’s Wharf in North Rustico - this one is as close to being on the north shore as you can get with views of the fishing harbor in this village. Either one would be a great pick (or do both!)

Always recommend calling ahead to get a spot as these places can be very busy in the Summer months.

I invite you to download or order our 2024 visitor’s guide. You can always stay in touch by signing up for the Tourism PEI newsletter which includes details on upcoming festivals and events and recipes too!

Hope that helps!

Thanks,

Al Douglas
