When you come to visit us next month, be sure to keep a camera close by as there should be some exquisite fall foliage in full effect.
When it comes to eateries on the north shore, there are a few which come to mind. O'Neils Plate and Palette is a quaint eatery and gallery combined. They are known for their quiches, chowder and lemon meringue pie.
The PEI Preserve Company is another spot worth checking out. It is beloved by tourists and locals alike. You can check out their shop before or after you eat. The potato-bacon pie is not to be missed, and their raspberry pie is the thing of legends!
If you end up debating which preserve to pick up, my favourite is the black currant.
Carr's Oyster Bar is another fun little spot to get a meal and to do a little shopping. If you're in the mood to enjoy some freshly shucked oysters on the north shore, this is great spot to indulge on them!
I hope you will have the chance to explore more of the Island as well; there are so many wonderful sights and bites to be found from tip-to-tip of the Island!
