Hello Patsy,

Thank you for your question to Ask an Islander.

For nature lovers or people just looking to soak up the sunshine surrounded by beautiful plants, wildlife and beaches, I would absolutely recommend checking out our National Park. On PEI we have one National Park that is divided into three sections: Cavendish, Stanhope and Greenwich.

In the National Park, there are over 600 species of plants that have been identified including the lady slipper which is our provincial flower.

For more information, check out the Plants page on the National Park website.

I hope you have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the stunning natural beauty of PEI.

Take care,

Taylor
