I will be taking the bus to PEI from Halifax. I won't have a car and don't bike. Is it possible to walk or ferry to some destinations there?

Hello Vanessa,

Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander! I am glad to hear that you are coming to visit. It would really depend on where you are staying while you are here. If you are coming to Charlottetown, you can easily walk around the city but you will need transportation if you want to explore further than that.

There are private tour guides, taxis and bus service on the island. Please visit the Tourism Prince Edward Island website under 'getting around' for more information on these services.

See you soon!
