Looking for farm to table restaurants

Answer by:

Hello Paul,

Thank you for your question to Ask An Islander.

I love dining on Prince Edward Island and farm to table experiences are a highlight for my guests when they come to visit.

Of course, Chef Michael Smith of Fortune Bay is known for his FireWorks Feast at The Inn At Bay Fortune. The FireWorks Feast is everything one would wish to enjoy in a farm to table experience.

The Table in Stanley Bridge is a unique culinary experience, where everything except the black pepper is local.

Point Prim Chowder House in Point Prim is known for their farm to table menu items with a strong focus on seafood.

The Blue Mussel Cafe in North Rustico is a seasonal seafood restaurant with a farm to table menu.

I love attending The Mill in New Glasgow. Chef Emily Wells is a delightful experience to dine with. Local product with international flavours.

La Rose Bistro in Avonlea Village has become a fast favourite. Chef Greg Arsenault has opened his own location and people are enjoying it. A focus on local product and produce.

I hope you enjoy,

Erin Davis
