Is there nordic skiing on the trail in winter? Snowmobiles? Thanks!

Hello Craig,

Thank you for your question to Ask an Islander.

The Confederation Trail is leased to the PEI Snowmobile Association during the winter, so there is no skiing or biking on the Confederation Trail during this time.

The Mark Arendz Provincial Ski Park at Brookvale would be an ideal spot for Nordic skiing. There is cross country skiing at Mill River and the Souris Striders Club. We also have lots of other winter activities.
