What is the best or best known classic Chinese-Canadian restaurant in Chalottetown?

Hi Reed,
We happen to have a very rich Canadian-Chinese food culture here in Charlottetown which means there are a few options to choose from. One of my favourits is the Noodle House. What I like about the Noodle House is that they serve both Canadian-Chinese food and authentic Chinese dishes. I like to mix and match. The sweet and sour chicken balls and egg rolls are classics, and I like to pair it with beef chow fan and Chinese long greens with garlic. Beef chow fan is a noodle stir fry made with wide rice noodles, green onions and velveteen tenderized beef sirloin.
Another option is the Canton Cafe. They have been around forever and are a great option for anytime of day even into the late night hours. I think their egg rolls are my favourite in town, and their veggie stir fries are plentiful.
If you want to try Hakka Cuisine-Indian-Chinese food which combines Chinese cooking styles (and often ingredients) with Indian spices, Spicey Chef is a fun option! I love their chicken momos (dumplings), and the hot garlic chow mein.
There are several other options including vegan Chinese and a hot pot restaurant. Have a wonderful time exploring the flavours of our city!
