What are the Best places to visit and explore shops and food in October other then Charlottetown
Hello Joe,
Thank you for your question to Ask an Islander.
If you are heading east, I love Murray River and Murray Harbour. The fish and chips at the Home Plate is amazing! Check out Rossignol Winery, Baravela Pizza at Point Prim, goodness do not miss Country Taste Kitchen & Bakery if they are open.
In the Three Rivers, visit Montague, Georgetown and Cardigan. I love Clam Diggers, Maroon Pig and Bogside Brewery. Great walking trails and shopping.
In Souris, walk the boardwalk and beach, find some sea glass. Red Claw Bistro, Toby's Food Truck, Seafood Shack and FireWorks are great food spots. Lots of wonderful shopping communities.
Still great food and shopping in North Rustico and New Glasgow with the Prince Edward Island Preserve Co., The Toy Factory and much more.
I love Tignish, Alberton and the Tyne Valley area. I enjoy visiting the Canadian Potato Museum.
There are still lots of places to enjoy, over 300 restaurants to enjoy and festivals and events.
Enjoy,
Erin Davis
