Hello Pat,

Thank you for your question to Ask an Islander.

During the summer months, there is a ceilidh, or kitchen party, almost every night of the week at various communities across Prince Edward Island. The Stanley Bridge Hall is a popular venue for music on multiple evenings. Others include The Dunstaffnage Ceilidh, Ceilidh at the Benevolent Irish Hall, and the St. Luke's Hall Concert Series.

The Tourism PEI website is an excellent resource for planning a visit, including a ceilidh and kitchen party section. The Buzz is a monthly entertainment publication reporting what is happening.

Enjoy the sounds of a ceilidh!

Regards,

Kevin Barbour
