Be sure to visit with friends so that you can share a serving of their signature dessert - lemon meringue bread crumb pudding coined “New Moon Pudding” by L.M. Montgomery, author of Anne of Green Gables. You’ll find her birthplace located just a short distance up the road in New London.
If you are visiting in July, keep an eye out for the annual strawberry social at Bideford Parsonage Museum, a lovely afternoon complete with rhubarb cordial and tea.
You can visit the Tyne Valley Tearoom to experience their Fancy Afternoon Tea. This four-course experience begins at 2:00 p.m. and promises to transport you to a gentler world, help you relax, and settle into a lovely afternoon of discovery, taste, and laughter.
