Hi Tania,

Thank you for contacting Ask An Islander.

Here are some beaches close to Summerside that have washrooms on site:

Linkletter Provincial Park: Located just eight kilometres west of Summerside, this Provincial Park offers the bay beach, playground equipment, laundromat, kitchen shelter, dumping station and wi-fi. It's only four kilometres away from the campers' store. Also, pets are permitted on a leash. This is a beautiful location.

Canoe Cove Beach: The beach in Canoe Cove is located at the Lloyd Inman Memorial Park, which is operated and maintained by the community. Located along the Northumberland Strait, this beach is most spectacular at low tide. Play in tidal pools, relax in your beach chair or walk on the soft red sand. You might even see seals at play. Be sure to check the tide schedule before arriving. This beach is a little further away from Summerside, but it is truly a gem making it worth the drive!

Cabot Beach Provincial Park: Located less than thirty minutes from Summerside, this Provincial Park offers recreation programs (June 23 to September 3) and ocean beach with lifeguard services (June 30 to September 4). Also, they have a laundromat, playground, kitchen shelter, dumping station, and wifi. Pets are permitted while on a leash. This is another stunning beach to spend a day at!

Have a great day,

Jonah
