Thank you for your question on Ask An Islander. Lobster rolls are an extremely popular menu item from tip-to-tip here on Prince Edward Island.
Richard’s Fresh Seafood is one of the Island’s longest-running fish shacks, serving customers for more than 40 years at Covehead Wharf. Locals watch for their opening every spring! Their lobster rolls are greatly enjoyed by visitors and the locals alike!
Another great place to get a lobster roll is the Seafood Shack in Morell. They have different lobster rolls, so you can have it many assorted Island ways. This will give you a great varied experience when it comes to different ways it can be served.
If you are in Victoria by the Sea, there are several restaurants here where you can try a lobster roll or two or three! Head to North Rustico for the same experience, lots of great spots to enjoy a lobster roll. Visit Pier 15 and get a lobster grilled cheese sandwich! It is amazing!
