Good morning from Prince Edward Island,

Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander about what's happening here after Canadian Thanksgiving. We have a number of operators offering fall packages as described at Fall Getaways. While some attractions and places to stay do close at the end of summer, a growing number remain open. Here are a few of my favourite by region:

North Cape Coastal Drive

Red Sands Shore

Adult and child walk along the sand with red cliffs in background at Argyle Shore Provincial Park

Green Gables Shore

Charlottetown

Scenic Heritage Roads continue to show off their fall colours, golf courses are less busy and tour operators continue to welcome cruise ship visitors and others like you. Festivals & events continue from tip to tip; search our calendar by region and/or dates of interest.

I hope these recommendations provide you with enough information to make an informed decision to visit Prince Edward Island soon. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact one of our helpful vacation planners or visit a Visitor Information Centre upon arrival.

We hope to see you soon!
