WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT THE LOCALS DO? I AM LOOKING FOR UNIQUE EXPERIENCES THAT AREN'T ON THE VISITOR SITES. For example a good pub with live music, or small home town shops? Julie

Hey there!
I figured one of the easiest ways to give you a behind-the-scenes look at the locals' itinerary for a summer day on PEI would be to list out some things that might be lesser known - not sure where you’re going to be based or how long you’re here for but you’ll be able to google these spots fairly easily and plan your trip accordingly!
Some of my top spots to hit on a summer weekend -
Point Prim Chowder House
Route 6 Fish and Chips
Pappy's BBQ Joint
Black and White Cafe in St. Peter’s
Haltorre Beach Club in Mount Stewart
Freckles and Porcelain in St. Peter’s
The Poke Shack in Souris
Tracadie Beach
Blooming Point Beach
Cape Tryon
O’Neils in French River
Cousins Shore Beach
Fishbones rooftop patio
Green Eye Designs on Victoria row
Charlottetown Public Library
Hope that helps guide your adventure a little more local-like!
Thanks,
Al Douglas
