Are there any recommended activities for toddlers? (We are here for the first two weeks of June; so a little before the season starts)

Hello Andrea,
Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander. I'm happy to hear that you're coming to visit! The first place that came to mind when I read your question was Island Hill Farm, also known as 'the cutest place on earth'. This is a very family friendly, hands on, fun place to visit. You can snuggle goats, bunnies, alpacas and more. They have a lovely cafe on site and the cutest little shop featuring local artists and their own goat milk products.
Our beaches are great fun for toddlers, if the weather is nice go for a walk on one of our many beaches. Look for shells, sea glass and you may see some little crabs scurrying around. The beaches along the Red Sands Shore region are great for children. When the tide is out, you can walk along the red sand flats and play in the little tidal pools. Get the little ones to look for little holes in the sand that the clams make. It is so fun to hear the squeals of delight as they get squirted by a clam digging its way down into the deeper sand.
Kings Castle Provincial Park is a lovely day park in the Points East Coastal Drive region where you could easily spend the afternoon playing and picnicking. It is a magical place with a family of favourite storybook characters in statue form who love to have their pictures taken. While you're in the area, swing by Buffaloland Park, discover a herd of grazing buffalo. For the best chance of seeing these amazing beasts up close, early morning or late evening is best.
That Fun Place is a great spot for little ones! It's a huge indoor playground great for kids of all ages and a great rainy day activity.
Beach Goats offer June play groups, I'm not sure how old your toddlers are but this sounds fun!
I hope this helps you plan your June visit. Have fun!
