Arriving to PEI June 13-25. Would love to know of live music, events and museums (or PEI MUST sees). Also, great place for a soup/sandwich.

Hello Kathy,
Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander. I am happy to hear that you're coming to visit!
The PEI Mutual Festival of Small Halls will be happening while you're here. This festival of music, dance, and storytelling offers events at venues across the island (see the full schedule). If an event catches your eye, I'd buy tickets asap as events sell out quickly, and some already have.
On June 13, Irish Mythen performs at Trailside Music Hall in Charlottetown. This is an award-winning artist known around the globe - a powerhouse of a musician!
Prince Edward Island is teeming with history and museums! Several of my favourite museums include Beaconsfield Historic House and Basin Head Fisheries Museum, with the bonus of being adjacent to our most famous beach, Basin Head! The Farmers' Bank of Rustico Museum & 1772 Acadian Log House is another favourite. Onsite, you will discover Doucet Log House, PEI's oldest house.
At Orwell Corner Historic Village, take a step back in time at this charming working farm and village. You can also step back to an earlier time, to 1732, at Roma at Three Rivers National Historic Site. Imagine the rugged coastlines of PEI, then known as Isle St. Jean. A visionary Frenchman named Jean Pierre Roma and his crew of settlers, fishermen and workers arrive at Brudenell Point with dreams of prosperity and international trade.
I can easily recommend a great soup and sandwich! Evergreen Cafe in Souris usually has two fresh soups of the day, sandwiches, wraps, and paninis. Please note that they are closed on Saturdays and Sundays until at least mid-June.
When in Charlottetown, visit one of the several locations of Receiver Coffee Co for great soup and sandwich options, made with their famous sourdough bread. Leonhard's Café & Restaurant in downtown Charlottetown is also worth mentioning. I don't think soup is served, but the sandwiches are amazing!
In the beautiful seaside village of Victoria by the Sea, you'll find Feel 'N No Grain Specialty Foods at 1 Nelson Street. They have a grab & go menu of soups, sandwiches and wraps if you fancy a picnic!
I hope that this helps you to plan your stay! Thank you for choosing Prince Edward Island.
