I would like to know, where is a beach that you are aloud to go swim in, please? 😊

Hello Courtney,

Thank you for your question to Ask an Islander.

There are over 1100 kms of shoreline with countless public beaches to enjoy on Prince Edward Island.  Some of the Island's beautiful beaches where you can enjoy a swim include Singing Sands Beach in Basin Head, Prince Edward Island National Park, Cedar Dunes and Jacques Cartier. The south side has red sand beaches like the ones found at Chelton Beach, Argyle Shore, and Canoe Cove.

To learn more about beaches, please visit the Tourism PEI website and the link to beaches and parks. Enjoy the beaches and swimming experiences!

Regards,

Kevin Barbour
