Hello Rick,

Thank you for your question to Ask an Islander.

Prince Edward Island offers a wide range of camping options for RVs. Campgrounds are available at the national park and the provincial parks. We also have privately operated campgrounds.

The Island has eight provincial campgrounds. They open for the season on June 6 and there are no fees to enter these parks. Selections include Brudenell River, Linkletter and Jacques Cartier.

The PEI National Park has two campgrounds in Cavendish and Stanhope.

Fine examples of private campgrounds include All Points East, Holiday Haven, Cumberland Cove, Green Park and Waterford campgrounds.

The Tourism PEI is an excellent resource to plan a vacation with a complete listings of all campgrounds.

Regards,

Kevin Barbour
