Hello, Sheryl,

Thank you for your question to Ask an Islander!

There are many interesting sites, restaurants, and other activities to explore between Charlottetown and Summerside. In Victoria-by-the-Sea, a small coastal village on the Red Sands Shore coastal drive, lovely restaurants such as Casa Mia by the Sea (opening May 15th) and Landmark Oyster House (opening April 1st) exist. Victoria also has a beautiful chocolate shop.

Regarding the Green Gables Shore drive between Charlottetown and Summerside, Rustico and Cavendish have fantastic restaurants and cuisine. Rustico contains two great places to eat: Pedros and By the Bay Restaurant. Kensington also has a fantastic bakery, Willow's Bakery & Café.

I suggest looking at the Eat and Drink Guide for further information on restaurants on the island!

I hope this was of help. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask!

Warm regards,

Bret MacCaull
