Hello David,

Thank you for reaching out again, as it helps to know the area where you would like to stay. Summerside has some lovely accommodation options if you'd like to stay right in the city.

  • Days Inn & Suites Summerside is a newly renovated hotel located near historic downtown Summerside. Here you'll be close to museums, shopping and the waterfront.
  • Quality Inn and Suites is a waterfront property ideally located within 30 minutes of major attractions and golf courses in the province.
  • Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Summerside is a new hotel in Summerside that offers a selection of well-designed rooms and suites with kitchenettes.
  • The Loyalist Country Inn & Conference Centre is a full-service hotel overlooking the harbour. You can enjoy the on-site restaurant and lounge, which offer room service, with complimentary breakfast included. Accessible rooms are available.

September is a great time to visit PEI. Things start to slow down a little bit, students are back in school and the harvest season is just around the corner. The weather is still lovely, often cooling off in the evenings, so be sure to bring layers.

If you're here on September 12th, you might be interested in this show at the Scott MacAulay Performing Arts Centre. Beolach, sounds like it will be a toe-tapping time! Be sure to find Holman's Ice Cream Parlour when you're here. It is a must-have treat! Take a few minutes to view what else Summerside has to offer through this link

I hope this helps you to plan your September visit.
