I am coming to PEI for a conference October 23-26th. Will any tourist spots/tours be open/running?

Hi Lisa,
Thank you for reaching out, October is a beautiful time to visit PEI. Things have slowed down a bit, the weather is still nice with cooler evenings and the changing leaves are putting on a show!
Most seasonal tourist places are closed by the end of October, but there is still a lot that you can see and do.
Green Gables Heritage Place is open until the end of October. You can soak up some of the fall colours by walking or cycling the Confederation Trail or a section of the Island Walk. Or drive back in time along one of PEI's iconic scenic heritage roads. Our heritage roads are gorgeous at any time but they are especially pretty in the fall.
You could visit a lighthouse or two, most will be closed for tours but they are still wonderful to see even if you can't go inside.
For an authentic fall harvest experience, you can participate in a Victorian Harvest Feast at Orwell Corner Historic Village. Get your hands dirty and your tummy full!
What about some live music? Ceilidh in the City happens on Wednesday evenings in Charlottetown. Traditional music at its best.
You can opt for the organized tour option too, companies like Triangle Tours have itineraries set or you can build your own.
I hope this helps you to make your decision and we hope to see you soon!
