Famous for once being the home of the only liquor store in the whole of Kings County, Cardigan is now home to a variety of attractions for visitors. Travel-weary visitors can stretch their legs with a walk on the Confederation Trail which runs directly through the heart of the community. As well, a new community centre, marina and a recently renovated railway station which houses a craft shop and cozy tea room can be found all within the village`s centre. Various roadside craft stands can be found throughout the area while anglers can ply the upper reaches on the nearby Morell River in search of both trout and salmon. Beautifully nestled into the scenic countryside, Cardigan is a wonderful location for all visitors to stop and enjoy.

Cardigan is part of the Points East Coastal Drive Touring Region.
